More About Me

You matter

I’ve been very intentional about my career path. Shortly into my first job right out of college I realized I was on the wrong career path. I quit my job and went  to graduate school where my first course was Career Management and Life Transitions. This course set me on a path to learn about career development and exploration and gave me a passion for helping others discover their own path. Choosing a college and learning about careers are huge life choices, and I’m thrilled to guide students through the process.

Research shows that our young people are looking for purpose, and one of the things they most desire is to know that they matter. Each client is uniquely positioned to impact our world for good. YOU MATTER, and my hope is that I play a part in equipping each and every student to feel empowered and valued.

I earned my BBA from Baylor University and my MA from Dallas Baptist University. I have over 10 years experience working with college and high school students and have also completed my College Counseling Certificate from UCLA, the “gold standard” in the industry. I regularly visit college campuses and am well equipped to help your student succeed!

PS: I also really love dogs, dachshunds in particular!
